Freespirit Recreation Kali Roof Top Tent - 2-3 Person Capacity
The Kali Hybrid Rooftop Tent redefines outdoor comfort by merging the compact, lightweight advantages of a fold-out design with the rugged durability of a hard-shell structure. Tailored for adventurers seeking versatility, this tent is ideal for short-bed pickups or mid-sized SUVs with below-cab racks.
Key Features
- Hybrid Design: Combines the fold-out mechanism’s portability (177 lbs) with a hard-shell exterior for weather resistance and longevity.
- Compact Footprint: Measures 50" W x 59" L x 12" H when closed, optimizing space for gear storage.
- Spacious Interior: Expands to 52" W x 82" L, comfortably sleeping 2-3 people.
- Durable Materials: Features a tri-layer waterproof fabric (600D Oxford with FSR Tech), aluminum honeycomb cover, and fiberglass honeycomb base for structural integrity.
- 4-Season Adaptability: Patented insulation retains heat in cold climates and blocks heat in warm conditions.
- Integrated Flexibility: Deployable window awnings provide weather protection, while PVC windows and interior flaps allow customizable light control.
FSR Kali
The FSR Kali Hybrid Rooftop Tent expertly merges the characteristics of both softshell and hardshell tents, providing an innovative option for rooftop camping. This adaptable tent caters to everyone, particularly designed for below-cab installation on short bed pickups, making it universally compatible and ideal for both beginners and seasoned campers.
When stored, the FSR Kali is compact but unfolds to comfortably fit 2-3 people. It includes integrated ports for diesel heaters and air conditioning, ensuring comfort in various weather conditions. The attached rainfly offers protection from the elements while making setup easier.
Remarkably, it boasts the smallest footprint of any rooftop tent when closed, and its stylish blacked-out finish enhances any vehicle's appearance without interfering with your aesthetic or your plans for a relaxed morning. Furthermore, it features dual dimmable LED light strips that provide a warm glow for nighttime activities.

FSR Kali Features:
4-Season Use 100% Waterproof
Tri-Layer technology works like a canteen to strategically fortify the floor, doors, and ceiling where heat would otherwise seep in when it’s hot and escape when it’s cold.
FSR Tech Fabric is used everywhere else to minimize weight and maximize packability. Both materials are 100% waterproof to keep you dry always.
Innovation in Design
This dual hinge & strut design allows for extra space inside and keeping the closed footprint to a minimum.
Additionally, the smaller exterior footprint allows for a perfect application on your below-cab, short bed pickups.
Protected From The Elements
Coverage when you need it. The window awnings can be deployed when needed, or tucked out of the way when they're not. Adding the needed protection from a rain downpour but not obstructing your view.
Additionally, we included PVC windows to allow light in, or close the interior flap to sleep in.
Expanding Views
Whether you're taking a mid-day siesta or catching an awe-inspiring sunset, the large windows and front door provide plenty of viewing area when inside your tent.
